Question 1

Is matcha caffeinated?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Matcha is a green tea, and green tea naturally contains caffeine. If you are sensitive, enjoy your bowl earlier in the day.

Question 2

How should I store my tea?

Accepted Answer

Cool, dark and sealed. Matcha keeps best in the refrigerator after opening; the botanical blend keeps in a dry cupboard away from light.

Question 3

What water should I use?

Accepted Answer

Soft, filtered water at around 80°C for matcha, just off the boil for the botanical blend.

Question 4

Do you ship outside Canada?

Accepted Answer

Not yet — we currently ship within Canada only. Join the journal and we will happily announce when that changes.

Question 5

When will my order ship?

Accepted Answer

Every order is prepared by hand and leaves the studio within 3–5 business days of confirmation. You will receive an email with tracking the moment your parcel is on its way.

Question 6

Can I return my tea?

Accepted Answer

Question 7

How do I steep the botanical blend?
